Peter answered him, "Lord, if it is you, command me to come to you on the water. "He said, "Come." So Peter got out of the boat, started walking on the water, and came toward Jesus. But when he noticed the strong wind, he became frightened, and beginning to sink, he cried out, "Lord, save me!" But then Peter looked at the big waves. He got scared. And he started to sink down! "Help me, Jesus!" he called.
Jesus reached out and caught Peter! Jesus saved him!
When Peter looked at Jesus, he could walk on water! When Peter looked away from Jesus, he started to sink!
We can look at Jesus too! When we look at Jesus and trust Him, He helps us! Jesus loves us so much!
Dear Jesus, help us look at You. Help us trust You. We love You! Amen.
