Create a simple water experiment with a plate, water, pepper, dish soap, and paper towel to demonstrate how God made a path for His people and provides power nad protection.
4) Noah: A Rainbow of Promises (Genesis 9:11,13)
Use a a ring; Skittles; a plate; and warm water symbolizing God’s promises and faithfulness.
5) Jonah Runs from God (Jonah 1-3:3)
A blue tarp; tuna fish in a plastic container with a lid; and a spray bottle filled with water can illustrate Jonah’s journey and God’s pursuit even when we go astray.
6) Creation: And It Was Very Good (Genesis 1:1)
Bring in a globe beach ball to showcase the beauty and goodness of God’s creation.
7) Jesus Raises Lazarus from the Dead (John 11:35)
Use a small clear bottle with a little water in it to show how Jesus weeps with His children.
8) The Good Shepherd's Voice (John 10:3-5)
Using printed pictures of characters like Buzz Lightyear, Olaf, Dory, Cookie Monster, Mary Poppins, and Jesus, show kids how to recognize Jesus' voice and follow Him.
9) Jesus Is the Way (John 14:6)
