Object:
Duffel bag loaded with heavy objects such as books or bricks or boards. Set it in a prominent place, close to where the children gather.
Scripture:
For if you forgive men when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins. (Matthew 6:14-15 NIV)

Look! There's a big bag! It's heavy. Too heavy to move! Sometimes things are hard to do.
God asks us to do hard things sometimes. But God helps us!
Jesus taught people about God's love. Jesus said we should love God. Jesus said we should love other people too.
When someone hurts your feelings, what should you do? Jesus says forgive them! That means you're not mad anymore. You still love them.
If your friend takes your toy, forgive them. If your brother pushes you, forgive him. If your sister is loud, forgive her. Forgiving is hard, but Jesus helps us!

Sometimes people are loud. Sometimes people make messes. But Jesus says love them anyway! That's hard to do, but Jesus helps us be loving.
When we forgive people, we show God's love. When we love our neighbors, we show God's love. God loves us so much! He forgives us when we make mistakes.
