Do you know what a happy face looks like? Let's make happy faces! *smile big* Good! Your faces are shining!
Today we're going to learn about Jesus and his shiny, bright face! One day, Jesus went up on a big, big mountain with his friends Peter, James, and John. They went up, up, up the mountain!
When Jesus was on the mountain, something amazing happened! His face started to shine! It was bright like the sun! His clothes became white and sparkly, like snow! Wow!
Then two special men came to talk to Jesus. Their names were Moses and Elijah. They were God's...

Peter said, "Jesus, this is wonderful! Let's stay here!" But then a big cloud came, and God's voice spoke from the cloud. God said, "This is my Son, Jesus. Listen to him!" Then Moses and Elijah went away, and Jesus was with his friends again.
Do you know why Jesus' face was so bright and shiny? Because God was there! God made Jesus shine!
God wants our faces to shine too! When we love Jesus, our faces can be happy and bright! When we smile, people can see Jesus in us! Let's practice our bright, shiny faces! *smile* Beautiful!
When you're happy about Jesus, your face shines! When you're kind to your friends, your face shines! When you help mommy and daddy, your face shines!
Let's pray: Dear God, thank you for Jesus! Help us have bright, shiny faces that show we love you! Amen.
Now let's all make our brightest, shiniest faces together! Ready? One, two, three... SHINE!
