Do you like to tell people when something happy happens? Yes! When you get a new toy, you want to show everyone! When you learn to jump high, you want to show Mommy and Daddy! When good things happen, we want to tell our friends!
Today we learn about a man named Philip. Philip met Jesus! Jesus said, "Come follow me, Philip!" Philip was SO happy! He met Jesus!
Philip wanted to tell someone right away! He found his friend. His friend's name was Nathanael. Philip said, "I met Jesus! Come see Jesus too!"
Nathanael said, "Really? Let me see!" So they went...

When Jesus saw Nathanael, Jesus knew all about him! Jesus said nice things about Nathanael. Nathanael was amazed! He said, "You are God's Son!"
Philip shared the good news about Jesus. Then his friend met Jesus too! That made Philip even MORE happy!
Jesus makes us happy! We can tell our friends about Jesus! We can say, "Jesus loves me! Jesus loves you too!" When we share about Jesus, more friends can be happy!
Let us pray.
Dear God, thank you for Jesus! Jesus makes us happy! Help us tell our friends about Jesus so they can be happy too! Amen.
