Jesus liked to tell stories! Today Jesus tells us a story about a farmer and his seeds.
The farmer had lots of seeds. He wanted to plant them so they would grow into big, strong plants!
The farmer threw some seeds on the hard ground. But the birds came and ate them all up! Chomp, chomp, chomp!

Preschool object lessons are designed for 2-4 year olds. They provide a simplified version with shorter sentences, more repetition, basic vocabulary, and extra fun examples to engage littles.weeds grew bigger and bigger and took all the space! The seeds couldn't grow.
But then the farmer threw some seeds on good, soft dirt. These seeds grew into big, beautiful plants! They made yummy fruit!
Jesus wants our hearts to be like the good dirt. When we hear about God's love, we want it to grow in our hearts!
When mommy and daddy read Bible stories to us, we listen! When we sing songs about Jesus, we sing loud! When we learn that God loves us, we let that love grow big in our hearts!
God wants us to have hearts full of His love. Just like the good seeds that grew into beautiful plants!
Let's pray: Dear God, help our hearts be like good dirt. Help us love You more and more every day. We love You, Jesus! Amen.
