Ready for the Christ of Christmas

Use this animated video to teach kids about John the Baptist preparing the way for Jesus. “A voice of one calling in the wilderness, ‘Prepare the way for the Lord, make straight paths for him.’." Matthew 3:3 (NIV).

John the Baptist said “I baptize you with water for repentance. But after me comes one who is more powerful than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.” (Matthew 3:11)

Join our full cast of characters backstage at the annual Christmas pageant. Sam dresses up as John the Baptist.  Even though John the Baptist wasn't in Bethlehem for Jesus' birth, he still plays an important part in preparing the way for Jesus' life and ministry.
