Sermon Title: "Each One Reach One"

Scripture Reading: Luke 24:36-48

EACH ONE REACH ONE TAG: Children will play tag and whenever the leader tags someone, they will then continue to tag another child. Each person tagged will go out to tag others until all have been tagged.

CIRCLE RUN: One child will run to catch and tag another child. They will then hold hands as they run to tag another. Each one tagged will hold hands until the tagging line is completed by ALL being tagged -- then children will run in a CIRCLE, singing a song from today's lesson or a song of their choice.

LOOP CHAIN: Children can be given many strips of colorful paper to write words from today's lesson or words of GOOD NEWS from God's Word. Then the class will make a LOOP CHAIN to hang around the classroom to show how many people can be reached when "Each One Reaches One".

FLOWER WALL: Give children supplies to color and cut out many flowers of all different shapes and forms and stems to decorate and then form a long flower garden along a classroom wall. Tell children that each flower can stand for ONE person that they might reach and then many more flowers/people will be added as they reach out!

EACH ONE REACH ONE DECOUPAGE OR COLLAGE: Children can be given the poem from today's lesson and then color their paper and decorate the border edge. Then the poem can be decoupaged onto a thin board or made into a collage on a colorful piece of paper for children to hang in their homes or in the classroom.

WHISPER CIRCLE: Children can form a circle and one person (or the teacher) can begin whispering something from today's lesson and children will then whisper what they heard in the next person's ear and continue to the end of the circle. The last child can tell what they heard. Continue as time allows.

BIBLE GOOD NEWS: Provide children with construction paper to cut or tear out a rectangle for a Bible. Glue lighter colored paper onto the Bible shape and write words from today's GOOD NEWS lesson. A card board stock paper strip could be folded and the top part taped to the back of the Bible and the bottom part of the strip of paper could sit on the table to keep their Bible standing up.

SPREADING SEEDS OF GOOD NEWS: Provide a special place outside or a long window type of box for the children to plant seeds. Let each child spread the seeds and tell the children that they will see their seeds grow after a few weeks, just as they will see others coming to know Jesus as they SPREAD the GOOD NEWS.

SING A SONG: I LOVE TO TELL THE STORY; JESUS LOVES THE LITTLE CHILDREN

SHARE A SNACK: Provide the children with little sandwich baggies and various types of mini treats that they can choose and add to their snack bags. The teacher could have the child receive one snack for every name of someone that they could share God's Word with and watch their mini treat baggy grow!!
