In my hand, I have 3 dollars: one Sacajawea gold dollar, one Susan B. Anthony dollar, and a Washington paper dollar. Which one is worth the most? Why? What makes one more special than another?
But aren’t they all worth $1.00? Yes, they are all worth the same. They each look different, but all have the same value when we try to spend them.
People are just like that in God’s sight. We all come in different sizes, heights, weight, have different hair & eye color, some are smarter, some are prettier, etc. But when it all comes down, we all have the same value to God. He gave His precious Son Jesus for our sins so that we could be close to God. He sent Jesus to die for our sins. To me, that makes me feel very valuable to God--worth more than anything money could ever buy.
Dear Father, we are thankful that though we are all different, you love us all the same. Amen.
