This permission extends to use in churches, schools, home schooling, and other non-profit organizations. The copyright notice must be included in the publication. If you have any question as to whether your use fits within these guidelines, contact us.

Q: Do I have permission to reproduce coloring pages?

A: Sermons4Kids does not own the copyright to any coloring pages. We have been granted permission to provide these coloring pages for use with our lessons. Coloring pages may be reproduced for classes in your church or other non-profit, but cannot be sold or distributed to others by any means. They cannot be reproduced for inclusion in other mediums such as coloring books, newsletters, or web sites. If you have any questions, contact us.

Q: What church or denomination do you represent?

A: Sermons4Kids is not affiliated with any church or denomination.

Q: Why don't you use the King James Version of the Bible?

A: Most of the time the NIV is used because the language is more easily understood by children. Users of the Sermons4Kids web site have complete freedom to use any version of the Bible they choose.

Q: After the theme of a sermon, it says "Proper 12 (7)" or something similar. What does that mean?

A: The entry following the theme of a sermon refers to the Sunday in the Revised Common Lectionary for which the sermon is intended. The RCL is a three-year cycle of weekly Scripture readings used by the majority of mainline churches in Canada, the United States, and many other countries around the world. It is built around the seasons of the Church Year, and includes four Scripture readings for each Sunday. During most of the year, the selections are: a reading from the Old Testament, a Psalm, a reading from the Epistles, and a Gospel reading. This information is included to help those who follow the Lectionary.

Q: Why do you include some sites which charge for their use on your links page?

A: There are websites which are helpful that may need to charge for their services. (Read 1 Corinthians 9:11) Most sites for which a link is provided do offer some free materials.

Q: I have stopped receiving the sermons by email each week. Am I still on your mailing list?

A: Usually this is due to our email being blocked by a SPAM filter. Be sure that our email address is in your address book and also add it to your SPAM program's "white list." Check our Spam Filter Tips page for suggested remedies. If this doesn't work, contact us and we will add your address to a "backup list."

Q: Do you accept contributions of children's sermons from other people?

A: Yes, sermon contributions are always welcome. Click here to find an index of sermons which have been submitted and our guidelines for submitting a sermon.
