Jesus knows your name, and He thinks you're special! Just like Elmo, but better! God knows everything about you, even what you're thinking. He sent Jesus to die on the cross for you to have everlasting life in Heaven. Remember, God hears you and knows you by name. John 1:48, "I saw you while you were still under the fig tree before Philip called you."
Summary of this sermon...
Jesus is Lord, and we can know this with certainty, either suddenly or gradually. The wise men's journey to Bethlehem shows us their intention to worship the Messiah, with gifts symbolizing Jesus' kingship, priestly nature, and eventual death. We too should worship Jesus as our Prophet, Priest, and King, practicing patience, wisdom, and stamina, shining bright with faith (Matthew 2:1-9).
